Sunday July 25th was an historic day for Robbinsdale Little League as both their 11 and 12 year old all-star teams won State Championships on the same day, at the same park with the two games ending just minutes apart. The state titles were the first ever for a Robbinsdale team of any age. In addition Robbinsdale's 10 year olds finished 2nd in District play, losing their championship to Coon Rapids. The victory for the 12 year olds gave Robbinsdale it's first ever berth in the Midwest Regional Tournament in Indianapolis.
Robbinsdale, Minnesota moved one step closer to a berth in this year's Little League World Series on Saturday (July 31) as they beat Iowa 2-1 in their opener of the Midwest Regionals in Indianapolis.

(Updated) Robbinsdale's Little League All-Stars continued their quest for a World Series berth as they defeated Kansas 10-3 on Monday night (Aug 2) in the Midwest Regional in Indianapolis.

The Robbinsdale Little Leaguers are now 3-and-0 at the Midwest Regionals in Indianapolis after beating Nebraska Tuesday night 6-5. Tyler Ockuly, who threw a no-hitter in the tournament opener Saturday, allowed just 3 hits while striking out 11 in 5 innings on Tuesday.

After winning their first three games of the Midwest Regionals, Robbinsdale's 12-year old all-stars were beaten Thursday (August 5) in their final "pool play" game 8-1 by Missouri. Missouri needed the victory to stay alive. Robbinsdale had already clinched a semifinal berth.

(Updated) An incredible run by Robbinsdale's Little Leaguers fell one run short of a trip to the Little League World Series as they lost to Davenport Iowa Sunday night 5-4 in the Midwest Region Final.
