Holy Angels wins 2nd title in 4 years By Wally Langfellow Holy Angels ran out to a 2-0 lead then had to hold on as they beat Moorhead 6-4 to win the 2005 Class AA Boys State Hockey Championship Saturday night (March 5). Jay Barriball scored a pair of goals for the Stars (although he was incorrectly credited with a 3rd goal, an empty netter). Barriball's first goal gave Holy Angels that 2-0 lead midway through the first period. Moorhead, who also lost last year's state championship game, closed to within 2-1 on a Matt Becker goal in the 2nd period. Click here for the results of the 2005 Boys State Hockey Tournament.
